Chinese Chess board game against a computer opponent. To win you need to capture the general of your opponent.
Place your pieces according to their unique movement rules. The General can only step one square at a time within the fortress. Mandarins must stay within diagonal moves within the palace. Elephants move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot move to the opponent's side. Horses move one square straight and then one square diagonally, but can be blocked by adjacent pieces. Rooks move any number of squares straight, acting as powerful attackers. Catapults move like chariots but must capture by hopping over exactly one piece. Pawns move forward one square and gain new movement after crossing the river. Remove the opponent's general to win the game. Plan your moves carefully to outmaneuver the computer opponent.
